These are a few that I designed for a class a while back using Adirondack acrylic dabbers which come in some lovely colours and dry within minutes. On the pink and monochrome cards I used good old post it notes to mask the pearlescent cardstock (the shiny surface lends itself to movement of the paint) and applied the paint straight from the dabber in swiping movements across the card. On both I used two complimentary colours and then used a fine paintbrush to add random strokes of a darker colour over the dried paint.
The pink card is overstamped with Hero H4464 and the black one Stampendous P107 both using versafine black and detail clear embossing powder. The greeting on the monochrome is Inca 782b and stickles have been added to highlight the flower heads.
The background of the orange card was achieved by using circles to mask the cardstock before applying the dabbers in three colours. I overstamped the whole image with Hero H2365 with Brilliance beige and the main image is Hero F2535 repeat stamped with versafine back and heat embossed with detail clear, then cut into three and matted individually. The greeting is PB 3657C and butterfly details are on an earlier post. Stamps and materials from Stampalot.
