Three clovers 13

I promised some cards with the new nestie frames I was asked to try out by Sir Stampalot, there are several gorgeous deigns which you can view here. I've only managed one card as yet this morning, minds on go slow. Anyways each nestie frame set has two frames and some flowers which I will be using later today and post up then. I also got this new Magenta 0445 Swirly blossom stamp yesterday and it fits the larger frame as thought they were designed to go together.

I thought the blossoms look rather like clematis which is in full bloom in the garden so am using my card for this weeks Three Clover Designs challenge entitled "May Flowers".

The image is stamped with versafine black and embossed with detail clear. I stamped it again onto vellum and cut out to decoupage and coloured with marvy pens. Hero H2365 has been lightly stamped over the background with Hero soft green. The nestie frame itself was run through the cuttlebug and cut from My Minds Eye DP, gems added and diamond glaze to the the flower leaves at the bottom corner. The card is actually purple, but the light is really bad today as it's raining and can't get a good picture - must not moan, hubby says we need to to make the fertiliser go through the ground.

Three Clover Designs

I'm on a roll here, another challenge sorted, this time Three Clovers following a nice sketch and I've used another of my new cuties, this time a Sarah Kay design, a sweet little girl on the farm (this takes me back more years than I care to remember).

The image has been stamped and embossed in black and detail clear then pained with Brilliance ink pads and more detail clear added (you need to add the powder as you go, otherwise the ink is too dry and will not hold the embossing powder) to give a nice gloss finish to the image. DP's are My Minds Eye (again I know), the greeting Woodware FRCL28 stamped onto circles cut with nesties. Mat for image also run through the cuttlebug using Swiss dots folder.

Three Clovers challenge 10

This weeks challenge on Three Clovers is It's a Zoo around here!! And it was a challenge as I could not think of a suitable stamp as most of my animal stamps are of the domestic variety. Then my husband remembered a JudiKins cube (African safari 67271) I've had for years, not strictly zoo, but zebras can be found in zoos cant they ?

The background was brayered using a multi colour ink pad and two of the safari scenes repeat stamped with Stayzon. I stamped extra grass using Art Impressions AAA1374 greeting is also AI G3130. The circles cut on nesties and stamped with another side of the cube.

Three Clover Designs challenge 9

Good morning and the sun is shining ! This is a new challenge for me from Three Clover Designs - have to confess is was their lovely logo which caught my eye. The task: "It's Technique Time!! Use an old favorite that you haven't done in awhile or try something new!".

So I decided on masking. A very similar card to one I did as a Penny Black sample a while ago. The stamp is PB 3949H, masked and stamped three times on to mats cut on Cricut Storybook, coloured simply with Marvy pens. The greeting is also PB 3940F all from Stampalot.
