2009 Snow White Home Video: Diamond Edition Blu-Ray and DVD

For the average Snow White fanatic, the choices one had with last year's Diamond Edition release were nearly overwhelming.  The Disney marketing folks were well aware of the fact that not everyone would be eager to give up their DVD collection in exchange for Blu-Ray.

So Team Disney went into overdrive, and on October 6, 2009 the next Buena Vista Home Entertainment invasion had begun. Snow White topped the national video sales chart its first week in stores.

The North American Blu-Ray appeared in two different packaging styles, a DVD-size case and the smaller Blu-Ray, both with their own handsome cover art. Each contained three discs--two Blu-Rays plus a DVD.

For DVD diehards unmoved by the Blu-Ray revolution, Disney released a two-disc Diamond Edition DVD on November 24, 2009.
